8/27 Cottage Grove

The #67 South Coast Construction/ Gooneys Sports Bar/ Oregon Tool & Supply Rocket will be heading to Cottage Grove Speedway on Fri Nite. to compete for the first time this season and driver Mike George First appearence at the famed 1/4 mile dirt oval. After competing Fri nite, the team will head back to Coosbay Speedway on sat nite to compete in a sat nite fight for the season
points Championship with the ageless wonder, father Time Kelly McIntyre.Mike is only about 50 points out of the lead with 4 events remaining in the 2010 season.

New Blog for 67 DLM

This is a new blog for the #67 South Coast Construction/Gooneys Sports Bar/ Boone Creek Racing
Dirt late model. The current car is a Rocket chassis powered by a GM 604 crate engine, this car was put in service on July 10,2010 where it finished 2nd in its first race with driver Mike George. Since
that first race, and after a dominating performance on sat nite, Mike and #67 SC Construction/ Gooneys Sports bar Rocket have now won 3 straight races and are making a move in the point standings up to 2nd after a slow start to the season and missing a race earlier to compete in the pavement car over the July 4th weekend. the next event for the #67 DLM will be Fri Aug, 27th at
Riverside Speedway in Cottage Grove, Or. This will be Mikes 1st time competing in Cottage Grove.
